2019 Plant-Based Health and Wellness Summit Highlights

The 2019 Plant Based Health and Wellness Summit was a huge success. Thanks to all the attendees who took the time out of their lives to learn, and enjoy the delicious food during the weekend. Gratitude to all the speakers, volunteers, sponsors and venue staff for helping making it great!

The theme of the Summit (and future Summits) is about living a healthy lifestyle with the emphasis on the four major components of a healthy lifestyle: Diet/Nutrition, Stress Relieve, Love and Support and Movement. The Summit is dedicated to broadening your understanding and knowledge about all four of these components.

It is a gathering of top experts in nutrition, health and wellness focused on creating and maintaining a state of optimal health along with identifying tangible steps that anyone can take to live a healthy lifestyle.


HI Kelley-- First, I really want to thank-you for such a wonderful Plant-Based Summit last weekend!!!  This was my very first event for anything Plant-Based and you & Jerry really knocked-it-outta-the-park!!  I know I don't have any other events to compare your Summit to, but I was amazed at all that you planned-- all the well-known speakers that were invited, all the food demonstrations, chef cook-offs, book signings, catered meals & snacks, the special 1/2 day cooking with Chef AJ--then VIP status, special front-row tables, and special gift bag with extra gifts, pretty PACE facility in cute vintage section of downtown Parker.  I actually was soo tired driving back & forth to Colorado Springs, that I missed the 1st 2 seminars on Sunday morning.  I just had to sleep in a little!  And I was always thinking how you kept going, even if you were tired, it didn't show, and you both kept working & bustling around during those long days and with smiles on your faces to boot!! In fact, for my Saturday evening, I'm watching the Gustavo's Summit videos of the 2 seminars that I missed.  And I'm watching your cooking demonstration for easy batch cooking and would so love your Buckwheat Granola recipe too!   I love all your ideas--I'm so new at being Vegan without my husband to do it with me (well, so far anyway) and found the best way to learn the best tips from the best experts in by attending your Plant-Based Summit!!  And my husband is wonderful--he gave me this weekend for my 57th birthday gift (which was Aug 18--I didn't want to be anywhere else this year)!  He is happy when I'm happy, I loved being at your Summit, and we even enjoyed a vegan birthday cupcake at the little bakery across the street from the PACE center.


Thank you again for allowing me to be a part of the Plant Based Summit, it was an honor and joy to be a part of your inspiring and first class event.. You and Kelley organized an amazing conference of the highest quality, congratulations! - Scott Stoll, MD


Jerry, going to the Summit was the best thing I have done for myself in ages. I did get Kathy Fisher's book and Kelly’s. I have fixed 5 recipes this week alone. Loved everything. Even my special needs kiddo is eating it and not fussing about different textures. I can even get Dr. Brooke’s smoothies down his g - tube as well! Thanks for all your hard work.  Carla Jilek
